INTRODUCTION

This is the first part of a two semester program. Different topics of maritime English will be introduced in order to get you involved in your future occupation. Don’t forget that working in the maritime industry is an important opportunity that requires responsibility and hard work since you have to transport merchandise but also human lives.  

The course will be divided into 5 modules. Each module is enriched with two or three units which at the same time develop contents of maritime English. It is complemented with the use of the English Virtual Lab.  You are expected to increase your language learning by doing self training at home in activities supervised by your virtual tutor.
